Where do we start?

I have been playing with hardware and software since..... a bit hard to define really.

I remember that I converted an old mono record player to a sort of stereo thing when I was about fifteen. Not matched or anything but it worked.

My first programs were written at school back in 1968 when Brian Barker started a FORTRAN programming club. We would hand punch cards which he took to Imperial College to be submitted in a batch job. The following week we would get our print out, fix the more obvious bugs and try again. Took weeks for my first program to run but it was an amazing experience. Brian would count as one of my heroes at the time - along with Seb Jenkins. And on TV there was Eric Laithwaite -the father of the MagLev concept - the linear induction motor.

Since then I have hardly stopped - and i thought it was time to share a few projects that I have either proposed or implemented....
